Mental Health Check-ups

Mental Health check-ups are provided through Meriden Psychotherapy because we understand the need to ensure that individuals are in optimal psychological condition. Like physical health, mental health tends to suffer if it is not monitored and checked on a regular basis. Stress, anxiety and low mood may be preventing you from both realising your full potential in life and enjoying life to the full. Early detection of difficulties is always preferable to letting a condition affect you intermittently, or on a daily basis. A detailed mental health check-up should enable you to assess and manage, through professional guidance, some of the symptoms that you may be experiencing and which may be indicative of poor mental health.

The assessing therapist will monitor and assess your levels of anxiety or low mood by asking about your:

  • Quality of sleep and possible disturbances in this most vital area
  • Feelings of low mood or hopelessness which may be indicative of stress or depressive illness
  • Feelings of tension, anxiety or panic
  • Quality of inter-personal relationships, psychological, emotional and physical
A detailed 90 minute assessment, during which many of these aspects of mental health can be quantitively measured through the use of standardised psychological tests, will enable you to identify possible difficulties and, crucially, how to combat these and improve the quality of your mental health on a day-to-day basis.

If you would like to book a check-up please contact us using the details at the side of the page.
